We are currently recruiting for a Civil CAD Engineer to work for a rapidly growing Client, who specialise in Solar PV Farms & Battery Storage Grids, working in partnership with major UK Energy Suppliers, with exciting sustainable energy projects in the pipeline.

Due to their continued growth, our Client is looking for a talented Civil Engineer, proficient in AutoCAD or Microstation to join the team.

The suitable candidate must have experience creating map based plans with good topographical and geospatial knowledge.

Responsibilities:

The management of project technical risk relating to access, ground condition and Civil design
Procuring desk top site investigation materials
Liaising with relevant technical stakeholders such as Highways Department
Creating Maps & Plans usign raster & vector data, in AutoCAD or Microstation in accordance with company CAD standards
Creating site layouts in CAD, PVSyst or PVCase
To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified Civil Engineer or similar, with experience in a Land / Geospatial / Civil role, ideally with some understanding of GIS an experience of creating and maintaining records.
